Pregnancy is hard enough, so here are some of my favorite pregnancy products that I’m currently loving, making daily life a whole lot easier.
23 weeks pregnant today WOOHOO!!! Over half way baby! Did I mention I am counting down the days to not being pregnant and also to meet this little baby girl?
This pregnancy has been a bit more difficult for me than my first mostly because I’ve been sick a lot. But sick days aside, there are little everyday things that have actually made this pregnancy rather awesome!
I think it’s because I know more this time around, that I am focused on habits and products that make pregnant life easier and more comfortable.
So if you are a first time soon-to-be mommy or just need some more feel good items to help you get through the day, I’d recommend giving some of these products a shot 🙌
Here is everything I am Currently Loving during my second pregnancy:
1.[amazon text=Moving Comfort Juno Sports Bra &asin=B00RQNW5XE]
I absolutely love this bra! I used it with my frist pregnancy and bought 2 more for my second pregnancy. Maximum support for larger busts especially during high impact activities (running, jumping, etc). It is also a great bra while nursing because the straps have velcro.
2. [amazon text=Burt’s Bees Belly Oil and Butter &asin=B00L9A921S]
In an effort to avoid too many stretch marks, this is my belly oil and butter of choice. I used them during my first and was left with little to know stretch marks! HURRAY! Added bonus: love that all these products rubs in easily, are natural and smell great. I apply after every shower.
3. [amazon text=Mumberry Maternity Activewear Workout Capris with Belly Band Support &asin=B06XG4CBNM]
For all you active mamas out there, a comfy pair of workout capris is critical. These Mumberry capris are the best! Perfect for working out, running, walking or even lounging. Totally durable, great fit and they look great!
With those cute capris, a comfy workout tank is a must! I like this basic racerback from Target. Totally affordable and perfect for working out. 3 of these tanks have gotten me through countless workouts during both pregnancies.
5. [amazon text=Maternity Compression Socks&asin=B00K2PRWIG]
This is not something I wear everyday, but man are these great for traveling or work. These socks are ideal for long trips where you have to sit for several hours or if you work a job where you sit or stand all day. Wearing these compression socks help to prevent varicose veins, blood clots, leg swelling and fatigue. Pregnancy MUST HAVE! Personally I use them the most for flying since I am normally sitting for 3+hours. And of course these are handy after pregnancy too!
6. [amazon text=Tea (decaf chai)&asin=B00WBHJ2MC]
Since coffee is off limits, tea has been my saviour. Lately herbal teas have bored me so I’m back to dark spicy chai with a splays of milk. So far this is the best decaf chai I’ve found and it makes a mean chai tea latte too!
7. [amazon text=Yoga Block&asin=B01JH4J90G]
I actually purchased this yoga block a long time ago and never used it until now! I could not recommend this product more while pregnant. Incredibly useful for countless yoga poses especially when my belly is in the way, twists are out of the question and my flexibility is not at its best. Easy cheap investment that makes your yoga practice much more doable and enjoyable.
8. [amazon text=Almond Butter&asin=B009JZRM1M]
Not going to lie, it’s kind of tough for me to eat the recommended 71 grams of protein a day when pregnant, especially when I don’t eat a lot of meat. Thank the nut gods for Almond Butter! During both my pregnancies nut butters have been my go-to for snacks, on fruit, in yogurt, oatmeal, smoothies, or just toast. Almond butter is a super simple and tasty way to add a little more protein to my pregnancy diet throughout the day. And of course, Barney’s Almond Butter is one of my favorites!
9.[amazon text=Coconut Water&asin=B008ASM610]
Staying hydrated is another key practice to keep in mind while pregnant. Although I do drink a lot of water, I sometimes feel like I need more electrolyte replenishment, especially when working out and on hot days. Coconut water to the rescue! I love the refreshing taste of coconut water while it keeps me feeling nice and hydrated all day long. One of my favorite uses for this stuff is actually in smoothies. Instead of using milk, I use coconut water for extra hydration and that awesome coconut flavor.
10. [amazon text=Comfy Maternity PJs&asin=B01DEBJYGC]
Sleeping is hard enough when pregnant, so comfortable sleepwear is totally necessary. This is a summer PJ that is light, airy and totally cute. Plus its nursing friendly so you can use it after baby is born!
Last but not least this lovely essential oil. This is truly a treat for mama’s having trouble sleeping. I started using Bergamot essential oil in my diffuser at night shortly after the start of my 2nd trimester and WOW what a difference. This scent is a calming mood elevating aroma that promotes better sleep. AHHHH it is absolutely soothing and creates a lovely bedroom atmosphere for a good nights rest.
