Pomegranate Yogurt Popsicles made with Greek yogurt, pomegranate juice and a touch of honey are a fun and refreshing way to enjoy your yogurt!
My kid’s favorite breakfast lately? A popsicle.
OK this sounds a little weird, but trust me this is no ordinary popsicle. Think of these popsicle more like delicious nutrient, calcium, probiotic and antioxidant packed snacks that are easy to eat and 100% portable.
Meaning my kid willingly and enthusiastically eats yogurt on her own without making a giant mess!
Cant I get a hallelujah!??
Popsicle for breakfast? Definitely. Popsicle for an afternoon snack. Sure. Popsicle as a healthy sweet dessert after dinner? Why not!
Yea these popsicle are awesome anytime of day and they are so incredibly healthy! I make them with organic plain Greek yogurt for calcium and probiotics without added sugar. Then I add pure pomegranate juice (POM Wonderful) which is loaded with antioxidants, fiber and vitamins. A little bit of unsweetened almond milk to thin it out and a little drizzle of honey for natural sweetness.
That’s it! Four simple natural ingredients that freeze into a beautiful ruby popsicle that is pretty tasty.
I would recommend this recipe in the summer since it’s super refreshing, but it’s also great in the winter! Especially if you have kiddos (like mine) who won’t eat plain Greek yogurt.
Who knew popsicles could actually be such a healthy simple way to eat good your probiotics and antioxidants, huh?!
