Why not start this week with a luscious healthy Piña Colada Smoothie? Throw on a gorgeous beach photo on your computer and day dream a little.
It’s Monday. Yay? Nay? I don’t know yet. Yay my toddler and I are headed down south this week. Bring on the sunshine! But nay… I need to clean my dirty house before leaving.
Aside from the random toys and recycling containers everywhere (yes my kid is obsessed with all cardboard milk cartons and boxes); I actually need to clean clean. Not pick up here and there which I seem to do every waking moment of my life, but actually scrub-a-dub-dub clean.
Does anyone else dread cleaning as much as I do? Seriously if it wasn’t for Bruno Mars, Drake or whatever catchy song is on the radio, I don’t think I could get through cleaning. Basically jamming and breaking out my old-school dance moves make it possible for me to clean.
So there. I need to clean and I don’t have much time left. BOOO. And yes I’ve been putting it off for about a week now. But time I’m totally bribing my lazy self to get it done. Here is my plan:
➡️ Clean all hard wood floors +3 bathrooms + dust surfaces = Make a Piña Colada Smoothie
➡️ Make hubs vacuum + clean up his piles of clothes in bedroom = Sip on Piña Colada while I watching him clean
Of course both activities accompanied by some tunes and I’d say this is pretty darn good motivation!
Now let me admit this is a virgin smoothie… but feel free to add a little something if you feel so inclined. Don’t worry I won’t tell 😉
2 (8 ounce) drinks. Double recipe if necessary.

- 1/2 banana, frozen preferably
- 1/4 cup light coconut milk
- 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple, chopped
- 1/2 cup ice

Notes
Feel free to share with your baby or toddler! My daughter adores this smoothie 🙂
Did I mention this smoothie is 203 calories total 😲! So sit back and enjoy.
