M&M’s Monster Granola Bars
If you can make monster cookies, you can also create monster granola bars with M&M’s that are both tasty and healthy at the same time. These granola bars contain both oats and cereal as well as the star ingredient: M&M’s. Well Floured shared the recipe, and this is such a fun treat to include in your child’s lunch box or just as a general snack. They’re very easy to make which means even the most novice of home cooks will be able to master the recipe.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of rolled oats
- 1 cup of crisped rice cereal
- 2/3 cup of honey (or any other sticky syrup as alternative)
- 2/3 cup of peanut butter
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup of M&M’s
Mix all ingredients except the M&M’s until evenly distributed.
Transfer the mixture in a square or rectangular food tray and sprinkle with M&M’s.
Let the finished mixture rest for 30 minutes, or put it in the refrigerator until it hardens, then cut the slab into bars before eating.

M&M’s Ice Cream Cake
How does an M&M’s Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich sound? Pretty good, right? Well, instead let’s go one better and create an ice cream cake recipe recommended by Wonky Wonderful. This is ideal for special occasions like summer birthdays!
Ingredients:
- 13-14 M&M’S Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches
- 1.5 quarts vanilla or chocolate ice cream (depending on your preference)
- M&M’s Minis
- Hot fudge
- Whipped cream
Leave the ice cream at room temperature until it softens.
While waiting, take a spring form pan and line up M&M’s Ice Cream Sandwiches in it, putting in as many as you can fit. Smear the softened ice cream over this first layer.
Line up another set of M&M’s Ice Cream Sandwiches over the first layer then spread ice cream over the top.
Sprinkle with M&M’s Minis and freeze until solid. Slice and serve with hot fudge and whipped cream on top or add more M&M’s Minis if preferred.
More about M&M’s:Named after its creators, Forrest Mars, Sr. and Bruce Murrie, M&M’s have been enjoyed by countless people since the product was rolled out in 1941. Over the years, it has established itself as one of the world’s best chocolates and has been an integral part of Mars Inc., helping it become the largest producer of confectioneries in the world. In fact, its CEO, Jacqueline Mars, was listed among the wealthiest women in America, as shown in this short video feature by The Scene. But as iconic as M&M’s have become, the classic colors and taste of M&M’s has remained the same throughout the years, and so has its loyal fanbase.
