Happy FriYay!
I want to start this by saying congratulations to 2 amazing couples and friends that had baby girls this week! So special! Having gone thru the whole childbirth thing, I sympathize and know what those first few days at the hospital are like. Incredible yet deliriously exhausting. But to hold your newborn in your arm, it’s worth every single tired moment 👶
We kicked off our week with great friends in town. The kind of friends you don’t see often but can just sit and talk with for hours unhindered by your time apart. There is nothing better than enjoying good food with good friends over great conversation.
The rest of the week was a blur. All I remember were butterscotch blondies (on the blog next week), more adorable baby swim classes, lots of book reading time and Jane the Virgin. Can we talk about how ridiculous and yet awesome this show is?! After the first episode we were SO HOOKED!
Currently I’m reading SproutedKitchen: Bowl + Spoon cookbook and Leap by Tess Vigeland. And the hubs is reading Promise of Blood by Brian McClellan. All great reads!
Anyone watching any good Netflix shows they would like to share? Or reading any good books?
Happy weekend friends!

If you have not watched Sarah Palin (Tina Fey) endorsing Trump on SNL, here it is… you’re welcome.
Cute outfit. I want it.
The hubs and I will be cleaning out our closets this weekend and trying out a Winter Capsule Wardrobe. I’ll report back on how it goes!
Doggie runs half-Marathon. I might ask if he wants to help me train for my April race.
Petit stackable glasses perhaps for a little vino. Cute little indulgence under $10.
Adorable short love story animated with 1000 cups of latte.
Favorite site of the week: Sprouted Kitchen. This is one of my favorite food blogs. Simple whole food recipes by the talented Sara Forte and incredible photography by her husband Hugh Forte. Also I’d recommend their book [amazon text=Sprouted Kitchen: Bowl + Spoon&asin=1607746557]. A masterful compilation of recipes with an emphasis on seasonal vegetables.
