3 Ingredient Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies!!!!
We have been making these cookies for a few years now. They started off as a late night test we tried after dinner one day when we were craving dessert but were feeling lazy and didn’t have flour. Coming across a recipe that only required 3 ingredients and took 10 min to bake, I was intrigued but definitely skeptical.
To my surprise, these cookies turned out AWESOME! Super gooey and very flavorful. The perfect peanut butter cookie that is not dry and really tastes like peanut butter! Plus to make them, all you need is a bowl, a spatula, and a cookie sheet! THAT’S IT!
As a peanut butter lover, the hubs in particular fell in love with these little treats and started making them pretty regularly as a fun after dinner treat.
Fast forward 3 years, and we are still making these cookies. Now more than ever, this recipe is a winner, especially with the kid chaos that normally ensues around dinner time!
So I urge you to give these a try! With just 3 simple pantry ingredients that I know you have on-hand, you can make some killer cookies that your family will LOVE. I know who doesn’t love a warm chewy cookie 😀
Yields about 25 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter*
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF and line a cookie sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
- Combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg together in a bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Roll mixture into small balls and set on prepared cookie sheet leaving enough room since they will spread a little.
- Flatten the cookie balls by pressing a fork down on top of them, to make a criss-cross pattern.
- Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes. Cool cookies on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before moving to a drying rack. Cookies should be pretty soft when they come out of the oven. They will harden a little as they cool.
Notes
The best peanut butter for this recipe is regular old creamy grocery store peanut butter (like Skippy or JIF), not the all natural kind that separates. These cookies save well covered at room temperature for 3-4 days.
